Cycle along the Fuji-Five-Lakes with the Japan’s highest peak of Mt. Fuji visible just in front of you. This cycling tour begins at Shinjuku station and take a bus to Lake Yamanaka. We will also have a chance to explore primeval forest and caves at Aokigahara Sea of Trees. Enjoy downhill from Motosu-lake to Shimobe Onsen, a cozy old spa town, where we’ll visit Kuon temple, which is believed to have been founded by Nichiren in 1274, and is the headquarters of the Nichiren Sect of Buddhism. We”ll stay at Shukubo Temple Lodging and experience true Japanese atmosphere and healthy shojin vegetarian dishes. On the last day of the tour, we”ll visit Yaizu Port to have sushi buffet! Then, we”ll take bullet train to return Tokyo.

To make your experience of Japan more authentic and memorable, we schedule some tour accommodations in traditional ryokan inns. Rather than single rooms, ryokan accommodate two to five people per room, with traditional tatami mat flooring and futon bedding. Please note that at Planet Adventure, we arrange for our guests to be accommodated in rooms divided by gender.

Springs of Mt. Fuji
Meet at Shinjuku Station at 11:40 am and take a bus for Lake Yamanakako, Yamanashi pref. We will start cycling from Mt. Fuji Station. Just leisurely ride calling at beautiful springs of Mt. Fuji and gorgeous view from Sengen Shrine.

Cycling along Fuji-Five-Lakes and Aokigahara Sea of Trees nature tour as optional tour.
Aokigahara is a 35 sq-km (14 sq-ml.) forest that spreads at the northwest of Mt. Fuji. As Aokigahara is a dense forest, there is barely any wildlife in here. The forest is very quiet and that makes it a popular suicide spot in Japan.

The temple is very famous for cherry blossom. So, the tour dated April 2~5 is the best for this.
